If you've been reading my blog now for a while, you'd know that I'm absolutely head over heels for Becca products, so it's no surprises I've added a little extra something to my collection. I've been testing out the Becca Backlight priming filter for about a month now and have to say...it takes the cake in radiant primers.
Packaged in a frosted glass bottle and equipped with a pump that dishes out just the right amount of product, the Becca Backlight Priming Filter reveals a formula that feels deliciously hydrating, lightweight and non greasy on the skin. Applied under foundation, it sinks in quickly leaving the skin with a healthy, luminescent glow that is free of glitters and shimmers. The primer does have a slight fragrance but it doesn't linger once applied. The pearlescent pigments blur imperfections and leave the skin smooth for applying foundation.
As for the staying power of my makeup, I didn't notice the Becca Backlight Priming Filter extending the wear time of my foundation any more than if I hadn't used it, however it also didn't claim to. The packaging although it is beautiful, isn't the most travel friendly (it's definitely a display piece). The price is definitely more on the expensive side, at $65 AUD for 30ml however I definitely think that it's justified in the product. For dry girls wanting extra life and dimension to their skin, this is a saviour.
