As soon as this palette was released I knew I had to get my hands on it. The mix of vibrant reds and pinks had me weak at the knees and were shades I'd dreamed of being able to use but struggled to uncover shades that gave me good pigmentation and didn't look like I had a weird outbreak of pink eye.
This being the first Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow product I had tried, I had high hopes considering her other products had never ceased to amaze me. Beneath the soft, velvety, lilac lid, these shadows are exceptionally creamy, insanely pigmented and blend like a dream.
Featuring 14 shades total in their first permanent palette, I like the fact that 11 shades are matte. With plenty of neutrals, the palette has good grounding and the ability to transform from a day to night look without having to change palettes.
I will say that as with majority of finely milled eyeshadows, you should expect some fallout and pigment to kick up in the pan. I do believe however that I would 100% compromise considering the crazy pigmentation these shadows give.
As usual, I have included named swatches for you to have a squiz (in case you were wondering how these look on my skin tone). I think my favourite shade from the palette would have to be venetian red (I mean c'mon, look at it).
If you're on the hunt for some decent pinky red hues, I'd definitely recommend picking this one up. At the moment it's only available for Australians through the Anastasia Beverly Hills website (If you have access to the US sephora it is available there too) and retails for $42 USD.
