If you haven't heard of Ashy Bines by now you've been living under a rock she is a well known 'instagram fitness guru' promoting good health and exercise in the form of stunning photos and purchasable workout plans designed to whip your bod into shape in time for summer. Somehow I found myself up at 5am being dragged in the cold wind and rain to her signature Booty Tour event in Perth (think concert tour but instead of everyone gathering to appreciate good music, everyone gathers to exercise).
If I'm going to be completely honest, I was a little overwhelmed by the fact that I'd never seen so many girls in lululemon tights in one place before but was feeling the fit-vibes that came along with it. This put a whole new spin on #fitfam. This booty tour is meant to be the final day (and celebration) of a 28 day booty workout program you receive when buying tickets however for some unknown reason, read: procrastinating/pretending exercise doesn't exist/stuffing my face on the couch, I never quite got around to starting my portion of the program, so thank god for Ashy coming in and keeping me on track at day 28 (or should I say 1). This made the workout itself far from easy, although I'm sure it still would've been difficult if I had done my pre-tour workout plan. Even though my ass muscles basically gave up and left the premises after the warm up, I still persevered and limped back to my car with that post-exercise sense of accomplishment & goodie bag in hand (goodie bag contents below).
Overall it was definitely an experience different to anything I'd ever done before and was so much fun to challenge myself with the crazy positive energy going on! More photos from the event below.
