It's been a little chilly in perth lately, so much so that my face has been taking the brunt of it and has literally dried itself out (and not in a good way). I'm talking so dry to the point where it was actually starting to just flake off. Enter: mission skin fix, Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub.

This little tub of genius is essentially a powerful exfoliator. And when I say powerful, I also mean the most harsh exfoliator I have ever used. Designed for all skin types, this scrub is designed to buff away dead skin (my flakeys) and help diminish fine lines and acne scars. This little guy is also 100% vegan, cruelty free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin free, gluten-free and GMO-free.

Although it is recommended to be used twice a week, I usually go for once a week with this because I find any more too intense for my skin. I'd definitely recommend even dropping to once every 10 days if you have particularly sensitive skin. The exfoliating particles (dead sea salt and volcanic sand) are especially fine however they still give a buttload of grit to the face.

The only downside to using the microdermabrasion scrub is that I do feel like it causes my skin to 'purge' and I find that initially, although it was clearing my dry skin, I did start to break out a little and my skin seemed to get worse before it got better.

I've been using the Derma E microdermabrasion scrub for a little over a month now, and can definitely feel an improvement in my skin's texture. I can't comment on the effectiveness for the signs of ageing but can definitely say my skin feels smoother, brighter and more even since using the Derma E microdermabrasion scrub.

Pick yours up here for Australians or here for Americans.
