Currently I seem to be acquiring perfumes at at much quicker rate than what I'm using them up, maybe because if I love the scent, I want it in a huge size, or maybe because I'm just a hoarder (probably the latter).
At the moment I have vowed to not buy or open anymore perfumes until I have used these two current beauties up, and I have to say I've been sticking to my word.
1. Lancome - La vie est Belle - 100ml
Roughly this time last year I was hurrying through a department store in the city when a lady at the Lancome stand handed me a perfume card for this fragrance. Thinking I was going to miss my bus, I hurried on and it wasn't until I had sat down on my way home that I had a chance to smell this frangrance and Oh my, was I in love. It is a sweet fragrance, not too overpowering but lasts all day long. La vie est Belle includes notes of Florentine Iris Pallida, iris aldehyde, jasmine sambac, black current, pear, tunisian orange blossom, Indonesian patchouli, vanilla, tonka bean and praline.

2. Marc Jacobs - Lola - 100ml
This fragrance is an oldie but a goodie and I must say I have had it for quite some time! My mum actually gave me this as a birthday present and it was originally my "special occasion" scent and it sat for a while being the statement piece of my perfume corner (I mean look at that flower). I thought it would be a waste to just let it sit there only using it every so often so it's been adopted up into my daily's. A warm floral fragrance, Lola has been dubbed daisy's older sister and smelling the two side by side it's easy to see why. With a top note of fuschia peony and other notes including grapefruit, peppercorns, pear, geranium, rose, musk, tonka bean and vanilla it makes a great gift for someone who loves floral scents.
