I know that it's well into December now, however, my Look Fantastic beauty box came a little late this month. With only 17 days until Christmas a subscription would make a unique and individual gift that literally keeps on giving!

L'orĂ©al Professionnel Mythic Oil: Honestly this oil is up there with my beloved Kerastase hair oil. One pump into damp hair leaves it feeling soft, smooth and smelling amazing. I love that it's incredibly light weight too.

Monu Recovery Balm: This emollient balm provides instant rehydration to the skin and hands. Containing rose essential oil, evening primrose oil, peptides and blackcurrant seed oil, your skin will feel instantly less irritated, plumped and fresh.

Look Good Feel Better Angled Blending Brush: I was so relieved to receive a brush in this months box. Because we are moving soon and my sister and I went halves in a brush set a little while ago, we had to make a split which left my collection feeling a little empty.

Model Co Blush Cheek Powder: This peachy shade is gorgeous for the Summer months! It has a slight shimmer but nothing too chunky or glittery and I find I get pretty good wear time out of it.

Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray: I'm really excited to give this one a go. I've been on the hunt for a volumising spray which doesn't leave my hair looking greasy or crunchy so I'm hoping this is the end of my search!

Bloom and Blossom Revitalising Leg and Foot Spray: Honestly I'm not so sure what this product was supposed to do. Aimed at alleviating water tension and revitalising tired legs I didn't really see any changes in this product. Maybe I don't have enough water tension? who knows. The only practical use I could see for this product is maybe on a long haul flight when you find you build up pressure in the lower limbs.

My local Priceline had 40% off cosmetics a couple of weeks ago and while I definitely kept my cool and didn't haul as much as I usually do, I couldn't not pick anything up. Of the four things I grabbed, the Australis Match Maker Shade Adjusting drops were by far the most intriguing to me. Often the lightest shade in a foundation range is still too dark for me, meaning that I either buy it anyway and save it for when I'm fake tanned (most of the time) or sadly pop it back on the shelf.

Enter: Australis lightening adjusting drops i.e. my foundation saviour. These little beauties have transformed my foundation game. By mixing just one drop into my foundation on the back of my hand I have my perfect shade. I do find the dropper design really easy and hygienic to use however I do find that it gets a little gluggy around the edges when the bottle is still full (kind of like the NIOD Photography Fluid did) but once you start using it this doesn't cause too many issues.

I love the fact that the consistency and formula of the foundation remain the same when the drops are mixed in however I must stress that this will not change the existing undertone of the foundation. If you have a foundation that is too dark and too warm, you'll just have a lighter foundation, not a more neutral one (which may not solve everyone's problems).

The formula is quite thick and creamy and has a matte finish which is impressive because it can be used with both dewy and matte foundations. Being the cheapest of the 'shade adjusting drop' varieties at $19.95 AUD a bottle this is definitely my go-to. I feel like finally my foundation drawer now gets the workout it deserves.

I've been trying and testing a whole bunch of new beauty products over the last couple of weeks and the new in #LFPAMPER beauty box was the beginning of my trials. Keep reading to see what I received in my October box!

Oskia Renaissance Mask: Oskia has always been a cult brand I'd scrolled past as being out of my price range so I was really excited to finally be able to sample one of their award-winning masks. This left my skin feeling super smooth and plump and the gel formula makes it feel like you're wearing nothing at all.

Mio Liquid Yoga Bath Soak: I definitely don't take baths as often as I would like however I am excited to give this one a whirl after exams are done. The blend of Epsom salts, arnica, lavender and mandarin smells just about as relaxing as it sounds!

Polaar Genuine Lapland Cream: This paraben, fragrance and colour free lip balm leaves your lips hydrated and nourished whilst also sporting a delicious berry scent that is bound to draw attention to your luscious lips!

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel: Another product I'm excited to try as I don't currently have any vitamin c products in my current skincare line-up. Vitamin C is fantastic for achieving a radiant and even complexion and since Murad isn't available in Australia (but totally hyped in the US) I can;t wait to give this a go.

Laura Geller Pout Perfection Lip Liner in Cabernet: This is the product that I was most excited about in this month's box (partly because I'm a makeup junkie). Look Fantastic seems to be the only beauty box company that actually understands the fact that not everyone wants a hot pink lip in their box (finally). The formula is incredibly creamy and waterproof and the fact that it's full-size is also a nice bonus too!

Alterna Caviar Moisture Intense Treatment: As I'm sitting here writing this post with dripping-wet freshly washed hair, I'm kicking myself that I forgot to bring this into the shower with me to test out. The pre-shampoo treatment aims to hydrate dry hair and prevent frizz, leaving you with stronger, healthier hair.
